Get to Know Dr. Maurice Dominguez
Dr. Dominguez was born and raised in California before heading east to earn his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, followed by a Master's degree from the University of Texas. He later returned to California to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCSF School of Dentistry.
Prior to settling back in California for good, Dr. Dominguez spent 10 years as an Active Duty Army Officer, serving at multiple posts and earning several medals and honors along the way. Military service was always something Dr. Dominguez felt called to as a way of honoring his country. Having transitioned from service member to civilian life, the values of "Duty, Honor, Country" and a commitment to selfless service continue to shape how he practices dentistry today. His focus remains on providing patients with attentive, conservative care, believing that when patients are well-informed, they're empowered to make the choices that best serve their needs.
Outside the office, Dr. Dominguez treasures time with his family, whether it's binge-watching shows with his wife or playing superheroes with his son.
