Get to Know Dr. Margaret Santiago
Dr. Santiago is dedicated to providing top-quality pediatric dental care in a comforting, kid-friendly environment. Her goal is to make every visit a positive, even enjoyable, experience for young patients, while also educating families on preventive care and healthy oral hygiene habits that last a lifetime.
Dr. Santiago earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Northwestern University in Chicago. She went on to complete her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. She's a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and previously served as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Dental School.
Outside of work, Dr. Santiago enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their dog, Wrigley. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves hiking and camping, and stays busy cheering on her son at his soccer and baseball games. She and her family share a love of travel and experiencing new cultures, and she's a devoted sports fan who enjoys cheering on the Warriors and A's.
