Get to Know Dr. Alexandra Glants
Dr. Glants specializes in General and Cosmetic Dentistry and has been part of our team since July 2019, treating patients at all of our locations. She earned her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003 and has since built an impressive list of credentials, including Invisalign Certification, training through the Align Tech Institute, an Associate Fellowship with the World Clinical Laser Institute, Botox training through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics, and conscious sedation training through NYU and DOCS Education.
For Dr. Glants, the most rewarding part of her work is helping anxious patients feel comfortable and even sharing a laugh with them along the way. Rather than viewing the people she treats as simply patients, she considers them close friends and extended family.
Dr. Glants's personal dental philosophy is simple: "Oftentimes, treating a particular problem in isolation is warranted, but I strive to assess the patient's whole health and tailor a treatment plan to fit their goals and lifestyle. Creating proper teeth alignment is the best preventive treatment that will ensure a healthy bite and tooth longevity along with increased self-esteem."
Outside of the office, Dr. Glants cherishes time spent with her beloved niece. She also enjoys creative outlets like drawing and hiking and occasionally unwinds with an episode or two of something on Netflix.
